These holsters are very well made, and the people at the company are extremely helpful in all aspects of the purchase process. I had several questions about the product all of which were answered to my satisfaction prior to my purchase.
"duty holster for Church safty and security Team"
Posted by Ted Gates on 21st Jul 2017
Was looking for a concealable yet discrete duty holster for our churches safety and security team. One of our trainers highly recommended it. Now I see why. Good accessibility and concealment. Able to practice and re holster for training. Same gun same place every time.
Quality worth waiting for.

I shopped around for a kydex holster that boasted ruggedness as well as reliability. Adjustable retention and versatility are important in any daily worn kydex holster. Comfort without compromise, wearing Long Shadows Antero holster leaves in your mind the comfort of an all day wear with the peace of mind of knowing that your firearm is secured. Confidence that your pistol will remain in the holster in almost any task, until you're in the fight. After I've had my Long Shadow Antero for up to three months of brash treatment. I plan on making further holster orders for other pistols. You should consider ordering yourself one of these quality Long Shadow Holsters. You won't be left unsatisfied.
Well made for a lifetime of use

I have a number of Antero holsters from LSHI. These guys are top notch and care about their customers as well as product. I have thousands or draws through these holsters with no issues. Josh and the crew at LSHI are also extremely knowledgeable about holsters for Mil, LE, and civilian use. As a veteran and avid shooter I highly recommend their products and services.

Just got my Antero for a full size 9mm. Excellent workmanship, very comfortable, good weapon retention / release. Lots of well thought out details.
At 6'6" / 185lbs, I'm certainly on the slim side, but for my intended purpose of concealment under a cover garment, it carries & conceals very well.
Could use angled belt loops as an option to accomidate the thicker than average belt I prefer, but that's a pretty minor gripe.
Overall am quite pleased with it, meets expectations based on assoiciates recommendations.
Not sure I've ever rated a holster 5 stars, but this ones close

Only One Issue

I ordered this holster for OWB concealed carry during the winter months as I always have a mid-length jacket on. It is fit for a VP9 with a Streamlight TLR-1. The holster fits the weapon and light perfectly, and with the 15 degree cant makes for a natural, rapid, and smooth draw.
My only complaint is that the anterior belt loop is impossible for me to feed my carry belt through without the aid of a knife or similar flat object (such as a car key) to guide the belt loop in from the opposite side due to the steep angle of the belt loop in relation to the rest of the holster. I don't know if this problem is unique to holsters molded after the frame plus accessory on my firearm, but it takes an extra minute or so for me to get the holster secured properly, and draws a lot of funny looks from people at the range when I have to bust out makeshift tools and fiddle around just to put it on if I'm not already wearing it. My belt isn't particularly more rigid than any other carry belt, so I don't think using another belt would fix this issue.
Functions perfectly. Just annoying to put on everyday.

I was emailed asking to write a review, so here it goes. For this style of holster it does not fit snugly to the waist line. Yes the firearm itself is right against the waist, but the belt loops stick out a good inch from the waist. Leading to a really bulky holster that doesn't flow very nice along the belt line, and always catching on my watch or other objects while walking past. The large belt loops cause a lot of upwards movement while trying to draw your firearm, which makes a nice smooth draw nearly impossible. After spending $100 on this holster, I am having a hard time being happy with it. I plan to try and find better belt loops to fit it and bend the sides so the flow into the belt line better.
So I suggest doing your research on the way this style of holster flows with the belt line when considering concealment and everyday use.
But the over all quality of build, and smooth draw in and out of holster are very very nice.
Sir, you may consider purchasing a smaller belt loop from us. It appears you have purchased a 1.75" belt loop and we actually stock 1.5". Please reach out to us and let us know if we can take care of your purchase as we back it fully.
